I feel I must post a brief blog today because of how my brain has been working lately. I find myself only wanting to can/jam, crochet (or knit, if only I could get up the courage to learn!), snuggle under the blankets with my love nearby and read my new favorite blog (SouleMama, this woman is amazing, and her children adorable, and I find myself drawn to live my life so like hers). Winter is quickly approaching and I've been eyeing a pattern for a cowl because I have a feeling this winter is going to be quite chilly, but I find I don't love any of the patterns I've been finding, therefore I'm going to be making my very first pattern!
I have this yarn I love that I used for my pixie hat and have been wanting desperately to make something for myself that I can use now. So I think this is the greatest opportunity. I'm sort of throwing some other more important projects aside at this moment in order to fulfill this sudden urgent need in order to create something tangible that can be completed quickly.
Although I do have a little over a week to complete my dress, make an envelope purse, make 2 types of jam and pumpkin butter, oh and complete more of my craft room. Did I also forget to mention that there is absolutely no way I will complete my blanket in the time frame I originally alloted for myself, therefore it's been pushed back to a Christmas deadline. And I also have a mind to make this on the 2 1/2 hour drive to and from J's house for Thanksgiving.
Maybe this project is a really bad idea...
